Poor information
I booked for a night and was then sent an email saying that the bar and restaurant were closed, when I tried to cancel I was told it was non refundable and that they didn’t advertise the bar.
Check in was great a very friendly lady, we explained due to family bereavement that we could only stay 2 nights instead of 3 that we had booked. She said that’s ok we will only charge the 2 nights. We were charged twice and they denied the 2nd charge. Hotels..com were great and did the refund. Room was great. No facilities for breakfast or bar. Quite a deserted place. Would not stay again on the poor service alone.
I cancelled my visit as, after i made my booking and paid, the hotel advised me that they have no bar or restaurant facilities. This didn't meet my needs. I have yet to receive a refund. In conclusion, they're a bunch of crooks - avoid. Hotel.com are also particularly poor in that they market these fraudsters.

Hotel generally average a soleless place in the middle of no where!
was very disapointed with no resturant or bar avaliable after arriving later in the evening had to start looking for local places to eat!
presented with little breakfast bag on checkout not great!
ok if you want a cheap no frills place
pictures look better than it really is wont stay again!
This hotel is currently up for sale, a fact that was not shared at the point of booking even though it was known within the hotel that they had closed their kitchen, bar etc. and could not provide meals and had reduced their services significantly.
It was ok, no aircon but fan was provided. Room was ok, a bit dated only had 2 usb plugs and 1 did not work. Shower head would not stay up so made it awkward to get washed and no breakfast options.

The service from reception was really good however had I have known the restaurant and bar would be closed before I paid for the room it would have helped rather than a walk into a nearby village to get a sandwich. The room was nice and clean but the shower head bracket didn't work so ended up spraying the wall more than me.
If a hotel is actually offering room only this should be VERY clear on the Hotels.com website. It provided this information during covid restrictions , why not now.

I travel to Northampton a lot and normally stay in town but all the hotels were booked or over priced due to the F1
I’m glad I found this little gem even though it was 30 mins from site I would rather stay here 🙂 and travel a little
The room was nice and airy and the bathroom was clean with a large shower
Had the unexpected treat of staying when there was a prom on and saw a lot of luxury cars just need to win the lottery low to get a roller 😜
I didn’t have breakfast in the morning as was running late due to the extremely comfy bed and not having little one wake me up but smelt amazing
Check in was great and the receptionist was very polite and lovely and always had a smile
The bar staff were also lovely and the price for a beer was good
I didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the menu was large and the prices were good as well
Even when there was a prom on and music I couldn’t hear anything from my room
Thank you for my stay and I will definitely come again!!
My wedding anniversary is coming up so hopefully I can bring the misses and little one to experience this lovely hotel

The double room was ok but I was kept awake by someone next door snoring. The walls in room must be very thin. Also there was scum around base of shower tray and Mits crawing around. The restaurant was closed when I was there on Tuesday evening and although bar was open for a while there were no bar snacks which was poor. I also got locked out twice as my card failed to work. It was difficult to find a member of staff at 7.00 am to let me back into room.
Very friendly and helpful staff, they went out of their way to help. And I love the car shows in the grounds. We were hungry when cooking had finished, but the chef was still available and cooked specially for us. Great.
The Sharnbrook hotel was very good , excellent for the cost, lovely breakfast, nice staff & the room was clean , if slightly dated, which didn't put us off .
We would stay there again if visiting again.

Not on a Monday/Tuesday night.
Generally the room was OK but getting a bit tired and in need of refurbishment, especially in the bathroom. The main disappointment was the total lack of any food service what so ever Sunday to Tuesday. Its quite a way from any town and all the local food/pubs were closed on Monday. Hotel didnt even do breakfast. I didn't find out this until i arrived for check in, too busy to pick up email that was sent out after booking, but the booking was none refundable so too late anyway. I need to know this when booking not after.
Choices for food were local curry house or drive in to Bedford. Not even a bar on.
They site Covid as the reason but all restrictions ended at least 5 weeks ago. Poor show.
A nice hotel in a remote locaton, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms, everything you could want.
A car or awarness that taxis are going to be expensive are a must if you are planning on getting around but you should be aware of that for yourself before booking.
Overnight stopover. The initial room booked was a small double however on arrival i found that the room allocated 204 had no windows only skylights and a tiny desk. The good news was that i was moved on request to a much larger room 111 which had views over the rear fields and a larger desk for work. I must say that the highlight of the night was the meal . I chose a meatball starter however the main was spectacular , Parmigiana di melazane.! this was really superb and highly recommended . Not wanting to eat pasta late this gem was hiding in a corner of the menu... dont miss it.
Arrived at the hotel 5 minutes before the receptionist was due to start. On arrival was asked if while waiting I would like a half pint of beer for while I was waiting. All staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my stay and helped in suggesting good restaurants in the area to eat at.
Roo.s were very comfortable, would definitely stay again!
