We will never know because it was closed. We were unable to check in at all. We had to find somewhere else very last minute. They also replied to message saying they don't do one night stays. I want my money back please.

Property was very clean and tidy and handy to the city centre. Just what we needed for the night!

Directions were non existent. Asked 6 different people including the owner how to get there. Most went on Google but streets weren't marked. Took most of the day to find. Google link owner provided didn't work. When we finally got there we found we were on the 3rd floor with the bathrooms 2 1/2 flights down. We tried texting and calling the owner to change the room as we are both elderly no avail. Terrible.

Dont judge a book by its cover
Me and my 2 friends recently stayed at Castlereagh House. We did question the area to start with but when inside it was nice. The communal areas were all clean and tidy. Our room was perfect sized for the 3 of us and was very clean. The beds were comfortable. It was cold at times but once i worked out how to use the Heating it soon warmed up. Other guests in the house were polite and friendly, we all respected each other it felt. The euro plug isnt helpful on the hairdryer but an other guest helped us out lending us theirs. Only issue was running out of toilet roll towards the end of our stay.

Lovely place nice owner!
Beautiful guesthouse. Nicely decorated. Very clean. Lovely (shared) bathrooms. Helpful owner who greeted us before check in to make sure we got in alright. Loved that there was a full kitchen to use!
