Moor View is a delightful cottage in a stunning location, in a beautiful county.
Moor View is a delightful cottage in a stunning location, in a beautiful county. We arrived in the dark, so it was the first morning before we got to see where we were - lovely views to the moors from the lounge and bedrooms, and views to the coast from the front. There is a great dog walk just yards from the front door - if you're lucky, you'll see deer as well as the stunning views. We were warm and cosy, and very comfortable - and having two bedrooms and two shower rooms is a real boon. We were made to feel very welcome.Although in the middle of the country, it's only a short drive to the village of Belford, which has a Co-op and several places to eat; there are quite a number of lovely villages in the surrounding area. There is a lot to do and see - stunning coastline and dog friendly beaches, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne with the castle (NT) and priory (EH), other National Trust and English Heritage places to visit, ancient monuments like the Duddo Five Stones, lovely coastal villages like Bamburgh with it's historic castle, stunning countryside, and the Scottish borders. We would highly recommend Moor View - we had a wonderful week.
