"Step back in time in this little village near the coast. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place.

"We loved our stay at the Martinhal Sagres Resort. The property is beautiful! Our beach room, #129 could not have been more lovely. We were given a bottle of yummy tawny port and champagne for our 50th anniversary. The staff was so kind and helpful. Quincy in the restaurant was attentive and personable. Strongly recommend! There were many young families as it is a family resort. "
"Really nice house as advertised. Plenty of nice towels etc.. Also the hosts (Rental Valley) were first class. Gas bottles were replaced immediately when we needed them. When we (stupidly) locked ourselves out of the house Inge at the office got straight back to us to say she would sort it and Anna, the local host, was there in less than an hour on a Sunday afternoon to let us in.
