"Exceeded expectations in every way. A quiet option to other more touristy choices but convenient to activities such a Lake Winnipesauke boat tour. Walked the WOW Trail behind the Inn. Great dinner at Fratellos nearby. Enjoyed sitting on lawn and saw a loon. "
Lakehouse 300 ‘ shore with 40' Dock, 10 Kayaks & kayak launch, boats & Fire pit
10/10 Excellent
"We couldn’t have asked for anything more for a lake vacation - camp Westwood was the perfect getaway! The house is charming, well decorated, and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have AC to cool the bedrooms on the hotter days. The grounds are beautiful. We loved the wandering ducks, and saw eagles, loons, and lots of other birds. There is good privacy from the neighboring homes and we were surprised at how quiet the lake was during the week. We enjoyed playing cards on the deck and sun porch, meals inside and out, sunsets, the fire pit, and lots of time on the lake. The pedal kayaks were fun and made it easy to get out to the center of the lake to fish or explore. Debbie and Mark are incredibly gracious hosts. They were available to answer questions, provide rafts and extra kitchen equipment (the kitchen is well stocked), and offered us herbs and vegetables from their garden. We all enjoyed our time at this special home on Winnisquam and hope to return!"
"We enjoyed our stay at the Margate very much! Loved hanging out at tae beach bar and watching all the boats on the lake. Bed was super comfortable and the buffet breakfast was delicious and filling! We will be back soon!"
