"Let me start with the staff. The staff were phenomenal. They all were so delightful and helpful. Valerie and TJ helped check my sister and I in, and it was seamless. We enjoyed the hotel bar the first night and came back just because Benjamin (Big Ben) services was absolutely incredible. He was so attentive. We were the only ones there for a bit and then even when other people came, he made sure we had what we needed. He was so patient, kind and pleasant. The food was even great. We ordered room service for breakfast and food at the bar. Now this hotel needs a MAJOR upgrade. Let me start with the escalator from the parking garage to the front desk. There is a sign telling you it’s broken and that you can offload at valet. Well if I’m already standing at the sign, how does that make sense? That information should have been emailed. The escalator had also been out of service since the summer, I came in September. The rooms were soooo outdated. The wallpaper was chipping. The fact that I could not watch ANYTHING on television without having to pay, was asinine. The way the hotel nickels and dimes you would think the interior would look different… The STAFF and the fact the hotel is lowkey would be why I would go back but it needs a major upgrade!!!!"

"They truly treat you like royalty here at the Royal Sonesta!! I had problems with my room, and they immediately took care of it and made sure that my honeymoon was very special. The food at the hotel is fantastic. The drinks at the bar are stiff! The coffee shop is awesome. I love PJ's coffee!!"
