Hotel was very nice. Also had a very nice jazz bar. Only down side was we thought we were staying in the castle so we were ok taking a cab outside of town for it. When we got there we were staying in a hotel next to the castle and the castle was closed due to a wedding. Wasn’t ideal and the listing should be more clear, but the hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I’m an American and found everything very good except no air conditioning and no top sheet for the bed — it was too hot for the duvet but a light sheet would have been nice as the night cooled. Also, I had to climb on the chair to retrieve the fan which was exceeding dusty. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and those were the two things I needed most

"Spent 1 night here, to break the journey back to England, hotel in a good location near to the loch. Had a meal in the restaurant,the service was good. Breakfast choice good, but cooked breakfast could have been hotter. Building is a bit dated and a bit scruffy especially round the back of the building ..."
