"Staff were very helpful and nice"

"Such a cute hotel! The staff was very polite, the lobby and exterior are ornate, and the room had a small balcony with a great view overlooking downtown and some of the nearby landscape. The room wasn't ready until almost an hour and a half after check in time, but once we got access to the room everything was clean and looked well maintained, including the very comfortable and plush bed. The bathroom looked to be newly remodeled, with lots of light fixtures and polished stainless steel, although the shower drained slowly. The property details as well as the hotels website indicated that there were laundry services available, but when we asked, they stated that they only had dry cleaning. Not a huge deal but something to keep in mind. Downstairs, there is a coffee shop with a small pastry selection instead of a breakfast area. We opted to go to a nearby diner instead for a full breakfast but there were a few patrons in the cafe seating area. Overall a good place to stay, albeit a little over priced for the amenities available."

"This place is a scam. The room we had cost $354.00 and was a small attic, with old cheap jungle stuff lying around. No AC, No windows that opened, and one window you can look out, nothing like the pictures showed, NOTHING. Breakfast was 45min late, in the morning we could not find anyone who we could speak with, that didn't need a translator app. This felt like a room where a John would take their trick, except as expensive as the Grand America. Horrible place."

"The property was SO cute, even better than the photos! Communication was very clear and helpful, and it was so nice having a dedicated parking spot. There were snacks and filtered water in the unit, and absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay. Having a security system in the unit was great for peace of mind. The only issue I had was with a lot of noise from the upstairs unit after quiet hours. I couldn’t tell if it was a domestic situation or a party, but the music was so clear it sounded like it was playing in my room and sleeping was impossible between the bass, yelling, and wrestling(?). I would definitely stay here again, but would consider a higher level floor since I usually just use the unit for sleep."

"Pros: 1. Very pleasant and responsive owner. Replied to emails and texts very fast. 2.Was able to arrive early and check out late. 3.6 bedrooms. 4.Off street parking for 3 cars. 5.Safe, walkable neighborhood. 6.Nice outdoor space, with fire pit, hot tub and covered seating area. 7.Upstairs bedroom has dedicated air conditioning unit. 8.Laundry was fully stocked with all supplies, same in the bathroom showers. Cons1. Air conditioning controlled by a ecobee thermostat that was set to only be turned down to 69 degrees. Cool enough for some but not all. 2.Special light switches that were difficult to operate. Some didn't operate at all. Others were set to turn off after a certain period, annoying when I wanted a dim light on through the night in the bathroom. 3.Hot tub not working. Owner did have a technician out to look at it but it never worked. 4.Outdoor space was not clean, countertop cracked, sink not working, macrame chairs ripped and inadequate seating. 5.Top shelf in dishwasher broken. Other1. Upstairs bedroom is a nice master suite with a dedicated bathroom. It's a gabled ceiling so you can only stand in the center of the room and can only get out of bed by sliding to the bottom to stand up. 2.Several of the doorways are 72 inches tall rather than the standard 84 inches so if you are 6 feet or taller, you need to duck to go through3.Due to the gabled ceiling you can't stand up straight from the toilet or in front of it. "

"The location was perfect for our needs. The place was clean and very well set up. Easy in and out of the apartment . It was a cute, relaxing environment. We heard very little outside or inside noise. The bed was perfect, I slept better there than I do at home. I suffer from a wide range of allergies and I didn't experience any problems. We were extremely pleased."
