"From the booking process throughout our stay Kim was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious. The only small complaint we had about our stay, and this had nothing to do with the home, is that all but two restaurants in town require reservations. Made it slightly difficult to find a meal after returning from our daily activities at unscheduled times. Again, not on the host, more a comment about the area in general!"

Excellent, low hassle communication throughout. Spacious bathroom and comfortable bedrooms. Walks / cycle rides from the door and charming location on the water. "Beautiful area if you enjoy biking and exploring the countryside. The accommodations have everything you need to be self sufficient and are a central location for day trips into major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or the Hague, however a car rental is likely a necessity."

"We stayed in the Haystack house which was compact and wonderful for our family. We enjoyed the countryside setting with chickens, fresh eggs, a tour of the windmill on the property, and the boats sailing on the Rhine outside our place. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place as a wonderful Dutch experience."

"Lake House 74 exceeded our expectations! We were a group of 6 - 2 couples with our adult children. The location of the house was perfect - just outside of Leiden, situated along a canal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Stephan was easy to contact, very responsive to all of our requests, and made us feel at home. He also had great suggestions for local activities. Be sure to rent a boat and drive through the canals to get to the center of Leiden. I would stay here again...
