"Property is old but well maintained. The king bed is comfortable. The futon in the living area is very uncomfortable. The bathroom is very small and the ceilings are very low. Skip the continental breakfast and bring your own food or go to a restaurant. It is a pitiful selection of starch. If you are just looking for a place to sleep for the night this place is fine."

"Great location. Small town feel. Clean and spacious apartment/ condo. The corner pub under the apartment was rather loud until 4am. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this for a family with "littles"."

"Meg's house is lovely. She has done a lot of work to make this house comfortable and attractive. The location is great, walkable to downtown Beulah and on a bike path. Why 4 stars? There are notes that assume people need to be reminded about many basic things - not to damage counters, walls, floor, etc. The door coming in from outside to the porch needs a better solution than a note saying not to slam the door as even a careful closing is sometimes noisy. The humidifier was running when we got there and the note said to empty it every day. It's VERY heavy and I could not do it. After 3 days of having my husband empty it, he just turned it off. A highlight is the lights - many places we've stayed have low wattage bulbs and Meg has lovely lighting throughout the house. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and large for cottage bathrooms. The kitchen is updated and has everything you need. There is mooring but you have to bring your own ball and snorkeling mask and find the mooring anchor under about 4' of water. Worked for us as we brought a small sailboat and used the public boat launch. All bedrooms have a view of the lake!"

"Centennial House was a great place for our family vacation! The space, with its large dining area, comfortable living room and sunroom seating, plus porches on both sides of the house, was great for hanging out together, The house is right near coffee shops, restaurants and breweries, yet the area wasn’t too loud or busy. We loved taking walks to the nearby beach and along the lake. Also, communication with the owner and property manager was easy and they were very responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend staying at Centennial House in Beulah!"

"Crystal Lake is so wonderful. It is crystal clear and shallow so far out. It was great for our grandchildren to swim and play. The house is only two blocks from the lake and its beach. You can easily walk there or drive as coming back is uphill and there is plenty of parking at the beach and at the house. The kitchen has every imaginable appliance, dish, utensil, etc. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of towels. The driveway is steep so if you are bringing a lot of items down to the beach, you will probably want to drive, especially if you have little ones or older folks. I just wish they had lawn chairs to take to the beach or to pull out at night and see all the stars that are there in abundance. We would certainly go back."

"The house was amazing! It had everything our family of 6 (4 adult children) needed for a true up north experience. The lake was beautiful…we used the paddle boards, kayaks and peddle boat. Game nights were perfect in the dining area with the bench seats and big table. We used the Benzie trail every morning to get our runs in. The host was extremely responsive as soon as I had any questions. Our two shih-tzu’s had a great time as well. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat!!"
