"The property is lovely, like a good hotel suite. It was spotlessly clean and there were lots of clean towels. Lots of plug sockets and a good size mirror. The downside was the shower was lukewarm and we couldn't increase the temperature. Also, the communication wasn't great. There was no info about where to collect or leave the key. Nor was there any acknowledgement when we sent details of our arrival time. A coffee machine would have been nice. "

"One of the best stays I’ve had. Very good value for money, absolutely lovely house and host, I would strongly recommend! It’s isolated and located right on a rich network of footpaths which is perfect for a countryside retreat. In December, the garden and surroundings were still full of birds and interesting mushrooms. Lovely attention to details, little messages throughout the house, a truly special place full of history! The owners are lovely and I was lucky enough to have a chat over tea with them as they live next door."

"We enjoyed our second stay at Robin's rest with our two children while visiting family. There is enough space for us all and a nice outside terrace. The fresh flowers, comfy beds and well appointed kitchen are all nice. The cake was also really tasty! The flat is a bit old and can get cold (October), being opppsite the pub it gets loud in the evenings on the bedroom side. It would be ideal for guests with pets but not for anyone with animal hair allergies. The location offers very good access to Billingshurst for pubs and restaurants. Only a short 15minute walk with children to the train station with direct trains to London (only 1 hour train journey) or down to the coast (Brighton / Portsmouth). Thank you !"

"Byre Cottage is comfortable and very dig friendly. The cottage is well equipped, we enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra week. The road can get a little noisy."

"We had a wonderful short break to Cattlestone Farm to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Despite less than ideal weather we enjoyed a comfortable and luxurious stay and felt truly away from it all. The shepherd’s hut was nicely secluded and felt so private; it’s also set amongst the trees so we felt really connected with nature. The outside space is fabulous and we’d love to come again when it’s not so rainy…The photos don’t do the loveliness of this accommodation justice. Sparkling clean, luxury bedding plus a super comfy bed. It was so stunning and decorated beautifully — as well as offering little touches that made our stay so much easier (eg cling film, oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, milk etc.). All your needs are thought of including a torch, matches, candles, fairly lights and ROBES…. The outdoor bath is a true luxury. It was an idyllic getaway!The owner was very accommodating and even helped book a table at the local pub and get us to a booked event at a local vineyard. Any issues with accessing the site seems to be a fault with VRBO communication process. Our advice would be to ensure you check you have all access codes and check in process before you travel as the signal is weak in the area and we had to drive a way to get in contact. We can’t wait to come back. X"

"We found the accomodation and location absolutely perfect for our needs.We were attending a wedding celebration at the Sir Roger Tichbourne venue about 8 miles away.We found the info and recommendations for dining to be top notch and would have liked to stay longer to explore the surroundings. Would recommend the accommodation to anyone be it family or friends.The welcome was very warm and friendly and nothing was to much trouble."

"My sister and I had a weekend in Sunset and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The location is gorgeous with a secluded wild meadow surrounding you. The accommodation is beautifully designed and equipped as well as being super clean and comfortable. The hosts could not be more warm and helpful and the cows were beyond charming. We will be back and back and back for certain. "
