"Definitely a 5/5 hotel! The staff were very helpful in assisting with any questions we had, in helping us get our Didis, and everything we needed. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept as well, in a great location. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Manager Snow from the front desk is simply the best, he made our stay so much easier—he even helped us to heat up the dim sum we bought earlier from the famous Cantonese restaurant Taotaoju, my hometown favorite! We have been living abroad for more than 35 years now, to be able to feel home again in China is a great feeling. Thank you Manager Snow and the entire team from the front desk!"

"Hotel is fine, room had a wonderful view, location was very convenient as well. The hotel rooms are old. Which might look like the marble in the bathroom is kind of moldy, worn off. Rooms are small too, not a convenient layout. Other than that the stay was great. Staff is exceptional."

"I had a very enjoyable stay at The St. Regis on the Bund in Shanghai. The hotel has an elegant atmosphere, a great location, and overall provides a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of choices and good-quality food. I also visited the hotel bar during my stay. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was pleasant, although I would say the drinks were good rather than exceptional. One area that could be improved was the room-cleaning service. On a couple of occasions, I needed to call by phone to request that my room be cleaned. It would be great if the housekeeping service could be more consistent and proactive in the future. I would especially like to give Derrick Hu a high level of recognition for his outstanding help and hospitality during my stay. Derrick was exceptionally attentive, professional, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that I felt well looked after. His warm and genuine service made a real difference and truly enhanced my stay. Overall, I had a very positive experience at The St. Regis on the Bund. While there are a few areas where the hotel could improve, Derrick’s excellent service stood out and made my stay particularly memorable. I would be happy to return and would recommend the hotel to others visiting Shanghai."
