"The stay at the cottage by the sea was 5/5 due to the incredible hosts and to be within the Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla for this price point. If you’re looking to enjoy a relaxing side of La Jolla with quick access to the rest of San Diego, you’ll want to stay here. It’s cozy, above a garage, and while not a 5 star hotel, it was a 5 star experience. Will certainly stay here again next time we’re in San Diego! "

"This is a clear 5 star VRBO, nicely furnished (homey, comfortable) and with a well equipped kitchen. The enclosed backyard is a delightful secluded spot to sit with a book or a beverage, and the location is excellent, in a quiet residential neighborhood just two blocks from the beach. The unexpected treat is the charming esthetic, with a “mini art gallery” to enjoy, and clever creative painting inside and out. The space is small, but was perfect for the two of us. Great host, very responsive and attentive. So glad we found it."
