The room walls were covered in black mould with paper hanging off the wall , came home with bad asthma . Was locked out twice due to someone putting the lock on the inside of the door and no staff on premises to deal with it had to phone and wait . No towels in the room. Not a clean hotel.

Thank you for your review and concerns.We are genuinely saddened that you had a poor experience at our hotel.We spoke to you during your stay and you did not mention the condition of your room. We would have been happy to change you to a better room.Although it is not accurate that the walls were ‘covered’, we do acknowledge that we need make a repair and we will do this promptly.We also spoke to our housekeeping about the lack of towels in rooms and addressed this as soon as we were notified.Someone locking the door from the inside of the hotel is an unusual problem and should not have happened at all. Once it happened, we notified all our guests to be more considerate. Unfortunately, they did it again and when you told us, we told the guest again and you were let in a few moments later, both times with our apologies.We are grateful for your feedback and will use it to improve our services.

Good stay
This hotel was a very last minute thing, the owner of this hotel was very communicative with me and made me feel welcome and comfortable in my stay, the room was very clean and beds was so comfortable its also nice and warm in the room ehich is key for me!

Tired needs TLC
Although clean overall the rooms are tired Rooms smaller than expected . We needed a ground floor room for disabled friend which was ok for her but not really disabled friendly ok for one night wouldn’t have stayed longer

We wanted to make sure that we had acted on it before replying.We are glad that your room clean and that your disabled friend found her room accessible.We are also pleased to not only agree that some rooms require an uplift but that we are in the process of upgrading them over the next few weeks. We are confident that, should you return, the rooms will have a brighter, more modern look.Making a room disability friendly is a bit more difficult due to the costs involved. However, this is also something that we are seriously looking into.Thanks again for your feedback.

Room was clean just extremely warm it could have been doing with a fab and the bathroom was a little grubby in the shower.
