The area is clean and secure.
There is a very nice beach in 200 metres away. At low tide you can walk in the mudflat. If you like, the vibrant nightlife of Blackpool's city centre you get there in a few minutes with the tram.
The cycle path at the promenade is very nice for walking, jogging and inline skating along the Fylde Coast from Fleetwood to Lytham.
