Checked in and checked out, while the guy working behind the desk was nice, the hotel itself was embarrassing and in need of being totally demolished. The walls are paper thin and you can hear other guest arguing, and given its Blackpool you can expect at least some of them will be drunk. Our room was rancid, mould around the windows, one of the windows was taped shut, the tv box was taped to stop the batteries falling out (which I found funny as it reminded me of my tv box as a child), the beds were uncomfortable, ripped and dirty, picture frame was hanging upside down, the decor was old and dated and the carpets could have been out of a stable.
In summary, I wouldn’t advise this hotel unless you have been evicted from your home and the council are using it as a scatter flat, and even at that the beach might be your better option. The owners clearly only care about making money, with little to no emphasis on there guests.
We also got charged for breakfast, this was never refunded, maybe just a simple error but still.
