the kitchen was fully equipped with everything that would be needed. it was clean and tidy. thd shower room had been well used, but it had been cleaned. the hotel is well located with easy access into Dublin The staff were very helpful.

I planned a whole year to come to Dublin, and while doing my research, I came across ‘The Leinster’ on Expedia. I thought this would be an awesome place to spend a week and celebrate my birthday in this area. The staff was nice, and we also had dinner on the rooftop at ‘Jean George’. I don’t know if the menu changes throughout the season, but I had sea bass, and it was amazing. They also celebrated my birthday, which was sweet. The hotel is honestly the best and safest place if you want to travel around Dublin. You can take the Dublin Bus, and most likely you will be there in 15-20 minutes if you want to go shopping in Dames or wherever your heart desires, whether it’s sightseeing or if you are a foodie. Seriously, treat yourself! The only thing I regret is not buying a pair of earrings they had on display.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are disgracefully small. More like a “ShoeBox” considering €350 for a night. No room to move round or put a suitcase. Smallest room I have ever stayed in. Service in the ground floor restaurant was just okay…. Took a good bit of calling to get service and reminders to get what we ordered.

We had a fabulous stay at The Grand. The hotel was clean and well maintained despite its size. Our double room was on the small side but comfortable, with a beautiful view of the water and contained everything we needed for our stay. Staff were pleasant, very helpful, and check in was a breeze. The location of the hotel was perfect, opposite the water, few minute walk to the marina, village, train station and castle. There were plenty of places to eat and drink in the village, but we also enjoyed the food at the hotel and had a few drinks from the bar while sitting outdoors taking in the stunning views.
