"Overall very good choice for a few days in Townsville. Clean motel style room and bathroom. Good wifi TV etc. Quiet apart from the odd Stone Curlew; but possibly a little noisy if there is a Cowboys game on the weekend. Woolworth’s a short walk away. 10 minutes to restaurants in South Townsville. Staff friendly and could not have been more helpful. "

"It was a last minute need as my original place I had booked had given away my room. The staff at Madison were excellent and very helpful, especially since I arrived just after 9 pm. "
