"The home was neat and tidy. Everything that was needed was supplied. The host always responded in a timely manner. Nice that the driveway was a pull through for hauling a trailer. The neighbors were quiet, but friendly if you were out when they happened to be out. You are about 11 miles from the closest gas/diesel station which also has fairly decent grocery store/ convenience store. Everyone is very friendly. Another plus is one of the best scenic state parks is within 20 minutes, Bond Falls State Park is definitely worth a stop!! We went several times to enjoy the waterfall area. Warning that mosquitos and the black flies can be annoying especially in the evening, but a little bug spray can keep the mosquitoes at bay, can't say it helps with the biting flies. Also, Paulding General Store is worth the stop if supplies are needed or just in the mood for ice cream."

"Nice quiet room in a fourplex type setup. Room is small, but clean. Door jammed and was a pain to open. Nice lake views and easy access to room was a plus. Bed was too soft made my back stiff for a few days. Free HBO and YT TV were a plus. Overall a decent place to stay for the money."

"We had a great family weekend. The house included everything that we needed and more than enough space. The balcony view of the lake is perfect for morning coffee and spotting wildlife. We saw eagles and lots of deer."

"We just got back from a 3 night stay at the Trout Creek location. We were looking for lodging off the beaten path a bit where it would be quiet and relaxing, and we hit the jackpot on this stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and we were so pleased with all of the accommodations. Although it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, it was great being so close to the main road, and you could easily head any direction necessary right away. We would not hesitate to book a return visit the next time we're in the area."
