"What a wonderful time we had hanging out at this property for an extended weekend. Peaceful and secluded, this home backs up to the shoreline and has incredible views from the back deck. Inside is warm and cozy with plenty of room and a nice, big fireplace. Kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms have everything you need. The homeowners, who live close by, were engaging and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We caught fish off of the boat ramp, encountered deer, turkeys, lizards, squirrels and a plethora of birds and watched several barges floating down the river. Round it all out with a fire pit and a peddle boat and we had one relaxing weekend. Husband Greg is already talking about going back and we just got home!"

"The common areas were clean, and breakfast was neat with a decent selection. However, when I entered the room, the bathroom was not clean—there were used towels hanging, so I had to check each time whether the towels were actually clean before using them. The shower booth also hadn’t been properly cleaned; there were old bottles of lotion and other products left there, looking damp and messy. Overall, the room—especially the bathroom—felt very poorly prepared. The common areas were clean, and breakfast was neat with a decent selection. "We stayed at this amazing cabin for 5 nights. It was absolutely perfect. Peaceful and serene. It was completely stocked with utensils and even spices and coffee. It is set back in the woods and away from the hustle and bustle of city life yet was only a short drive to Murray to anything and everything you could possibly need. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful cabin in the woods."

"Fantastic property and the view of the lake is gorgeous from the back deck. The property was clean and has everything you need to enjoy a weekend at the lake with plenty of room. The shared boat ramp is about 200 yards away on a gravel area and is convenient to both Leatherwood and Paris Landing marinas. The owners are very responsive. We are planning to return next year."
