"All-in-all we very much enjoyed our stay. Vibe Property Mgt representatives were extremely accessible, responsive and friendly. The location is awesome - great views, easy access to Pen Yan and Geneva, wineries, breweries and shopping. The rooms in the main house were comfortable and the game room is fun. There are kayaks and a pier to enjoy the lake. The negatives may be of lower importance, but they have the effect of keeping the overall experience from being what it should be. For example 8 towels for 8 people over 3 nights. With the lake, a hot tub and a sauna having a single towel is a nuisance. Not enough coffee for everyone and the coffee pot requires holding the pot against the dispenser to release the coffee (cheap Amazon Basics machine with a part missing or broken). The room in the garage is a step below the others in terms of quality of the bedroom and bathroom. Lastly, the lack of shampoo and soap for showers feels like unnecessary penny pinching. They are not listed as provided, but anyone accustomed to Airbnb may not even consider that they won’t be available. These may seem like nit-picks, but they have the effect of shifting the experience from consistently to mostly positive. It’s close to amazing (an A- or B+). A few less corners-cut and it will provide the constant, positive experience expected when paying the price for it."

Lake Reflections: Family Friendly Retreat!

"The home is just as pictured with easy access to Seneca Lake (literally steps from the front door), a shady side yard and a beautifully maintained dock. There is a portable A/C unit for the first floor (which includes the bunk room) and window units in each of the upstairs bedrooms. There were several fans also provided. Penn Yan is about 15 minutes away with some adorable shopping, along with a great coffee shop and bakery. And of course there are an abundance of nearby wineries.A few tips to make your stay more enjoyable...1) bring bath towels. The home does not have a washer/dryer and we were provided with one bath towel per person and two hand towels for a full week's stay. 2) Bring dish towels. There is no dishwasher so you'll need dish towels to dry dishes. 3) Pack closed toe water shoes. The lake bottom is rocky and there are sharp mussels to contend with. 4) Pack hand soap. We were provided with two very small (sample size) bars which would not come close to lasting a week. 5) Pack extra paper towels and toilet paper. Again, the amount supplied will get you started or be fine for a short stay, but not a full week. 6) Tissues are not provided. 7) There are no pantry items provided. Typically you'll find some basics like oils, condiments, salt/pepper, seasonings etc. but this home did not offer any. 8) The bunk room is VERY tight. Suitable for small children but likely not teens and definitely not adults. Overall a great home on a gorgeous lake!"

"The property was as described. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the common areas. The water view was spectacular, especially at sunset. Overall home was clean, well maintained, and well stocked with anything one would need.We only had 2 issues. First, upon entry there were quite a few ants just inside the front door in the left corner. These were quickly dealt with. Second, the back door was unlocked and open upon our arrival. We would recommend this property and would stay there again."

"Nice setting. Just be aware if you get one of the double bed rooms the sleeping area is very small. It’s an older motel, and the walls are thin. On the plus side, the property is well maintained and right on the lake. The fire pit is great. Other rooms may be bigger, and they offer glamping. Coffee and muffins in the morning are good. If you want a bigger breakfast you will have to go elsewhere."

"This place is a diamond in the rough. Everything went smooth for check in and the place was clean and comfortable. During our stay there was a very severe heat wave which caused some strain on the AC and refrigerator- and the generator would turn on loudly at 5:00 AM most mornings. But overall its a beautiful area and a great place to go "glamping". Id love to go back during a cooler time of year."

"We stayed at the home for 5 nights and found it to be very spacious, clean and the lake views from the deck were fabulous. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, plates, bowls, etc. The home and the property were pet friendly for my daughter's dog. The hot tub was nice in the evenings. We enjoyed a campfire one night and enjoyed smores. There was a small water leak in the downstairs bathroom sink and agreed with the host to wait until we checked out to allow them to fix it. We had great communication with the host with easy check-in."
