AlumPointe was a brand new development finished in 2019. The apartment is finished to a very high standard with all branded fittings, stone worktops and italian tiling. Expertly interior designed and beautifully built. We use a super comfortable Hypnia branded mattress in all of our properties which offers an amazing nights sleep coupled with John Lewis bedding for a luxury touch. We have onsite parking for 1 car and plenty of addition free road parking.

Guests will have sole use of the this self contained private apartment with it's own entrance. It is situated on the 1st floor with the option of using the stairs or the lift.

Allocated parking is directly in front of the building - we also have a disabled access ramp.

We are local hosts living nearby, happy to help where we can.

Arguably one of Bournemouth's best locations! Only 400m to the golden sandy blug flag award winning beaches. The popular villiage of Westbourne is only 2 minutes up the road offering an M&S food and a massive selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options including indian, pizza, sushi, bistro, greek and many more. There's pubs, wine bars, coffee shops & a wide choice of restaurants. Bournemouth town centre is 5 minutes by car or a lovely 15 minute walk along the prom.

The famous Sandbanks peninsula and beaches are also only 5 minutes drive or a 15 minute walk. Poole old town with it's historic quay and home of Sunseeker Yachts is a 10 minute drive.

We have Wifi + Smart TV's with Netflix, iPlayer & catch up services.

Great apartment

Lovely apartment very close to beach and a scenic walk to town centre. Instructions to enter were easy and appreciated the parking. Rooms and bedding were clean. Only slight issues were the interesting smell in kitchen area, taken care of with air freshener and open windows. Also having two older teenagers boy and girl- could do with a sofa bed or bring blow up bed. Definitely would stay again though! Thanks.

Freezer problem

Modern clean apartment. Fine for just two of us but could be cramped for four. There is very little storage space in the bedrooms and the second bedroom is very small with a double bed. Adequately equipped but missing egg cups, coffee maker/percolator /tea pot/jug/ bread bin and knife and only one chopping board. Tea, coffee and sugar provided on arrival plus washing, dish washer tablets, washing up liquid and liquid soap. All very useful for new arrivals thanks. We had a problem with the freezer which was in desperate need of defrosting. Should have been checked and sorted before our arrival. It had so much ice that it was impossible to get a drawer of the freezer back in. Also, the food we had bought to put in the freezer was melting. I rang the host whose name was on the email I received with checking-in details. She was unable to help and I didn’t hear from her for the rest of the week. I managed to turn the freezer setting down so that the food didn’t melt but of course that would not have helped with the amount of ice gathering in the freezer. Overall, we enjoyed staying in the apartment. It was very quiet and handy for Alum Chine and the beach and promenade. Would stay again but would hope that the freezer was checked before stay.
