The apartment Impressive 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom split level apartment/maisonette conveniently located just minutes from Boscombe pier, beach, many restaurants, bars and shops. Bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are also provided.
Set within the prestigious Burlington Mansions a former Victorian luxury hotel which has been affectionately restored into luxury apartments, each one being unique with many of the original features retained. The flat, suitable for 4 people has two entrances and is located on the ground and first floors.Both the master and twin bedrooms have en-suites and there is a further WC downstairs. The lounge/dining area is very spacious with a large window that lets in lots of natural day light. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything to make this flat perfect for a self-catering holiday. Burlington Mansions is a 5 minute walk to the sandy beach at Boscombe. A good selection of shops, restaurants and bars can be found in several directions within close proximity. The centre of Boscombe is 5 minutes walking and Bournemouth centre can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Bournemouth beach is a pleasant stroll along from Boscombe beach or a short ride on the Land Train.
Local Area Boscombe is a suburb of Bournemouth and is ideally located between Sandbanks and Hengistbury Head. Built in 1888 fully restored in 2007, Boscombe PIer is an impressive sight with its unique aircraft wing design entrance, new decking, lighting and viewing section at the end. Boscombe Cliff Gardens offers an impressive view that stretches from Hengistbury Head, through Bournemouth all the way to Poole Harbour. We are from Bournemouth but now live in Canada and come back for family visits. The flat was the perfect place for us and we were able to have my family over for dinners as the kitchen was so well equipped and the table seats 6. It was so nice being so close to the beach and going for a swim and walks. We are looking forward to staying here again!
This is the second time we’ve stayed at this apartment. It has everything you need and more. The beautiful beach is only 5 minutes walk. This place is a home from home and I cannot wait to stay here again.

ooked a very last minute 5 night November stay at this apartment in Boscombe. Teresa the owner was really helpful considering she only had 1 day to sort everything and the apartment on arrival was absolutely perfect.
The apartment in a converted former victorian grand hotel is furnished and presented to a high standard and has everything you could need. Location is ideal for the wonderful beaches, bars and restaurants the area has. Even in November we were able to get out walking every day.
If you don't want to drive, local bus services are close at hand and very regular

Clean and organised, spacious and comfortable. Cupboards full of games, maps, guides and some blast from the past dvds.
Great shower, hairdryer, and modern kitchen appliances.All situated in a beautiful former hotel with a classy well kept lobby/foyer and hallways.
What’s not to like….?
We found the property last minute but glad we did. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and roughly 25 mins walk into Bournemouth. Boscombe has a good selection of shops and supermarkets and is 3/4 minutes walk away. The apartments was spacious and well equipped, lots of leaflets regarding things to do, games and books. Seems like a good bus service we only used the once to return back from a long day at the air show. We visited Poole, Poole park, Christchurch, Sandbanks durning our stay all lovely places to visit. My children loved the pool table which guests can use. It had a handy 2nd door to the side of the main building which we tended to use. Overall would I recommend this apartment to others, definitely yes. We plan to return another year.
Everything about this stay was utter perfection. The host was kind and communicative, and the property was immaculate and conveniently located. I would recommend this place every time and will definitely book it again in the future!
With the pleasant surroundings of the property and the long casual walks along the beech to Bournemouth or into the town of Boscombe we have had a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to book again

One of the best experiences ever, we will be back!
This retreat had everything I needed and then some, it was fully equipped for my needs. I also appreciated how Teresa responded to every detail even checking in with me during my stay, which is unheard of in the U.S.
The place was also nicely appointed and comfortable. I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I and our son stayed in this apartment in May 2017. We found it to be exactly as promised. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Dealing with the owner was easy as she was very professional. The area is excellent for local traveling with good quick access. Also the local area was excellent with lots of restaurants, cafe, and other amenities. The walking area at the beach was delightful. Lots to see and do in the area.

Amazing Apartment!!
We loved staying at this apartment! Everything that you could possible need for a short stay with kids was available, including high chair, games, books, stair gate, cot and even Tupperware for picnics :) Basics like tea, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, dishwasher tablets, tea towels and even kids plates, cups and cutlery were provided.
The owner is a lovely lady just an email away and very responsive for any queries. My husband found the ceiling beams in the bathroom a bit of a hindrance, but then again he is 6’5” and the odd ceiling beam isn’t going to stop us from coming back for another holiday :)
We used the apartment as a base for exploring New Forest, which isn’t too far. The weather was lovely and we also managed a day at the beach!
We had an excellent holiday and my kids wanted to move into the apartment permanently!
Stayed here for a week at the end of August and were generally treated to good weather. The master bedroom had a lovely comfy bed with good sized en siute. The twin room is quite small and more suited to younger children although our teenagers managed without too much fuss. We always had plenty of hot water during our stay. The virgin TV was good as was the WIFI.
The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of plates/cups etc. Instruction manuals are available for every appliance there is which is really helpful. We made use of the washing machine and dryer which was brilliant to have those available.
We also made use of the pool table and gym that is in the building.
The location is excellent and only a 5 minute walk to Boscombe beach. We enjoyed a couple of evenings at the bars on the promenade and several afternoons on the beach. Sainsbury's and Aldi are only a 5-10 minute walk away. There's a bus stop around the corner where you can catch one of the yellow busses. We used the bus to go to mudeford and hengistbury head which was beautiful. If you walk further into town, there's a variety of other busses. We caught the no 1 to Poole and enjoyed a boat trip around the harbour.
I thoroughly recommend this apartment. Communication with the host was excellent throughout.
We were so pleased with the apartment. We spent a lot of time in it as it rained most of the 14 days we were there.
