-Denali National Park Main entrance is 7 miles to the north.
-World Famous Glitter Gulch for all your Dining & Gift needs including the Alaska Salmon Bake, Prospector Pizza, Karsten's Public House(One of our Favorites), Crow's Nest, & Denali Grande Denali to name a few.
-Healy is 18 miles north that has a large grocery store, golfing, ATV opportunities and the Alaska Famous 49th State Brewing Company.
-Dog Sled Tours available from Iditarod legend Jeff King.
-Multiple Rafting companies to Raft the Nenana Canyon.
-Meat cache is also a double for a kids tree house. Mattress and lights
-Denali park road lottery in September. Entries are required by May 31 each year. Visit -NPS.gov and type in Denali Park Road lottery.
-When booking please do not leave a day that is non-bookable on either side of your stay. If you do, we may call you and see if you can adjust your vacation plans or we may not be able to rent. We only have approximately 115 days that we can possibly book and if every guest left a day or two on either side that is un-bookable, we could potentially lose out on half our season. We had a great stay! The cabin was cozy and comfortable and very conveniently located close to Denali national park entrance and food and shops in the area. It was unique to be next to an airport and fun to see the planes once and a while. The information provided by the host on the property and surrounding area was helpful.

Just perfect for a visit to Denali! Convenient to everything and a super location in the woods on the airstrip. The house had everything the five of us needed and was very comfortable. Kelly and Cheryl were great!

Best spot if you are visiting Denali National Park

Only a couple of miles from the front entrance of the park and a truly unique property ready for all your visiting needs while you explore everything that the area has to offer!

Cozy Cabin

6 people (4 adults, 1 teen, and a 10-year-old). The house was charming in every way possible. The location was fabulous and we did everything we wanted to do. The planes landing and taking off were a highlight! We didn't realize it until we left, but we really enjoyed the privacy as well.

Beautiful Home! Beautiful Location!

Beautiful, comfortable, clean home with a very unique and fun airstrip viewing opportunity. Location was calm, quiet, and peaceful, which added to the beauty of our trip. Looking forward to the opportunity to stay here again in the future!

Awesome location

We had a great stay! It was very comfortable and cozy! We liked Panorama pizza down the street. We got a guided tour from Traverse Alaska and our guide was awesome! We recommend staying at the cabin.

Quaint place close to Denali

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and furnished and offered a rustic experience with all comforts. Also conveniently located to Denali National Park. Kelly was very responsive and even came in person to answer some questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place on a runway

Kelly and Cheryl’s place was gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. The space was perfect for a family of four plus parents and the location was perfect for visiting Denali.

Great place to stay near Denali

Cabin will easily accommodate 6 adults. Property is very clean and as advertised. Kitchen is well equipped and comes with a lot of different spices which really helps with cooking in. The owners are a pleasure to interact with. Distance to the Denali park entrance is probably a 10 minute drive.

Beautiful place near Denali

We loved the log cabin feel of this property. It was very clean and well stocked. It was near the airstrip so taking a tour was very easy. We also went to Denali for the day and this property was very welcoming after a long day. We ate at Mckinley Cabin Cafe & Bakery and the 49th Street Brewery (Healy). Both were excellent. Plenty to do near this property

Perfect cabin near Denali

Wow! What a great cabin and great location for daily adventures in Denali National Park. Had a very relaxing time and enjoyed watching the occasional airplane take off and land. Just a few minutes away from Denali. Highly recommend.
