"We really enjoyed Betsie River Cabin, it was everything it advertised and more, we used the canoe and also kayaked the river. It was great to launch from the property! We had great campfires and played ping pong, the hot tub was great after a day on the river. The hosts are very gracious and thought of everything. We will probably return sometime!"

"A few of us friends just needed a couple days to hang out and do some snowboarding at Crystal Mountain, which is right down the road. We have stayed here several times in the past it’s always been clean and quaint. The addition of the hot tubs is a plus and it makes it more luxurious. We will be back!"

"We totally loved the place and will be back. That being said, a few things could be better upkept. The portable a/c in the closet was quite dirty and a bit of a pain to set up. The water is fine for washing and the bathroom but dont plan on drinking it if avoidable. Tall people will find it tricky to navigate in some spots. Main thing to remember is it is a cabin and feels as such. Luxury it is not. We wouldn't have it any other way."

"“The Shed” is a cute little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. The place was so clean and well kept. Kate was so nice and friendly and made the stay feel so comfortable. You can see the care Kate and Ray took to make the shed a perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend this place for someone to visit!"

"The property is very nice, smells wonderful when you walk in and found everything to be clean. We had a wonderful time sitting by the fire each night and the river was peaceful and relaxing. I do want to let future renters know that there is no cell service for Verizon at this location, but you can drive a few miles down the road and get cell service."

"Found this cabin last minute for memorial weekend and our family decided we had to try it out. This cabin did not disappoint! Every part of the cabin was gorgeous. we were a group of 12, 7 adults 5 kids and had plenty of space. kids loved the basement game room and the loft to play. they loved the creek and found tons of frogs turtles and other wildlife. "We had a great stay. There were 10 of us staying in the house. We were very comfortable, everyone slept well. The kids were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a lighter to get the fireplace going but that didn’t affect our fun, only mentioning that because some people may be very disappointed if that were to happen. "We had an amazing time during our stay at Peter's cabin. Cute cabin, on the lake, surrounded by trees. Beautiful scenery, something out of a movie. Perfect location on the lake for our 2-year-old. Private sand area by the dock in front of the cabin. The water is only about 1-2 feet deep until the end of the dock which was perfect for our son to play in. Happy we were on Lower Herring as it was calm enough for us to get in the water every day. Loved access to the private beach at the Watervale...

"The accommodations were nice, place has a beautiful view of the river; only downside is we lost power a number of times. It was only for a few minutes at a time and multiple days, but it was annoying."

"We have 6 couples that have gotten together for 21 years for a golf weekend. We travel all over Northern Michigan and need a VRBO that hs a bedroom for each couple. This home met all of our needs. I think the best part was having two well-stocked kitchens. We also loved its convenience to Crystal Mountain and Arcadia Bluffs."

"This cabin exceeded our expectations. There were so many thoughtful amenities and the whole place was designed for a great stay. We had a rainy weekend and were actually happy that it gave us an excuse to stay at the cabin rather than go to the beach."
