"Breakfast good choice, poached eggs overdone and staff cheerful. Paper thin walls mean you hear every small noise so not great. Lovely grounds to walk in and the nearby Rock Inn pub well worth a visit."

"Really nice hotel with lovely staff. Food was really good had an amazing pork belly on my first night. Room was a little grubby looks like someone had blown a boggie on the wall. Also as its an old hotel could hear quite a bit of noise out side the room creaking doors and rattling glasses but no noise late at night and I had two excellent nights sleep. Hotel has lovely gorunds and a great view. I don't play but has a golf course."

"Room was good and very clean had a issue with the window that wouldn't close correctly so had some road noise. Staff were bringing and couldn't do enough for you and made you feel very welcome food was brilliant and well cooked "

"Property was clean and presentable with parking clearly marked. Shame about lack of EV charging. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room light, airy with windows that open! Very clean and the bed comfortable. Would have liked bottled water, good job I brought some with me. Good choice of breakfast with the hot choice freshly cooked. Hoping to go back to use the leisure facilities."
