"Entering the property was very off putting. I regretted the booking as the stairwell was dirty musty and stunk of marijuana. The apartment itself was very clean and bed was comfortable. I have to say it was overall one of the worst stays of any apartment ive booked . Extremely noisy from neighbours in unit 4 and from party goers loudly hanging out at the NCP car park. "On arrival we were unable to access the property and had to wait for another guest to let us in. Smooth check process thereafter, Michael receptionist lovely and welcoming. Property description is not entirely what it seems as whole chalet is a bit miss leading, the rooms are part of a large building and spacious, clean rooms. "We had a wonderful stay. The staff were all so friendly and helpful without exception. The location is great and our room exceeded our expectations. The pool was out of use during our visit but that was no fault of the hotel staff. We loved Brighton and would stay here again."

"My stay at the Queens Hotel was generally very nice. The overall experience, cleanliness, and hospitality were pleasant, and it provided a comfortable base. However, my only real drawback was during the peak of the hot summer weather. When I kindly asked the front desk if they could help replace or provide a more effective fan for the room, they unfortunately didn't manage to help. The fan provided wasn't up to the job of keeping the room cool during the heatwave, which made it a bit difficult to sleep comfortably. Aside from that one hiccup with room temperature control during hot weather, everything else was good. With a bit more attention to guest comfort during warm spells, this would easily be a 5-star stay."

"The room was very clean except for the armchair which is in need of a shampoo. Everything else was fine, plenty of tea, coffee etc. My only real concern was that on the morning of check out, someone, presumably a housekeeper, opened my door then left again. I found this worrying because it was well before check out time, I was in the shower and I was a woman alone and defenceless. I thought I had double locked the door but obviously it can still be opened by staff."
