"Check was smooth & very welcoming. Even a little treat of a cocktail for my birthday. Room was amazing, cracking view (was a shame about the weather but that can’t be helped) Evening meal was delicious, shame the waitress didn’t know what she was doing or what we could order. Did leave us worried for the morning as made to sign an expensive bill. Cocktails were lush & the bed was soooo comfy. Breakfast was again delicious & service a 1000% better. Check out was easy & thankfully no large bill & the Lovley girl apologised for the night before. Deffo recommend the Malmaison when staying in Brighton. Stayed in a view Malmaison & this is the nicest to date. "

"Yes, room was clean and tidy. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff, especially at reception, and they were so helpful, pointing out things to see. Even the cleaner smiled and said hello as we got out of the lift.🙂"

"Great family room, spacious and comfortable. Also had our dog with us so large room and living area was incredibly valuable. Staff very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. Literally across road from the beach and great location to walk along the beach to the pier, shops and The Lanes "

"We chose a beach front room, parking was not free but booked knowing space was limited. The room (218) was stunning, beautifully appointed, clean roomy, nicely decorated with access to a lovely balcony. The staff were all great, very accommodating and we felt looked after incredibly well this was our second stay at this hotel, the previous time 11 years ago when we got engaged. The hotel isn't cheap so there were a few things that could be improved. The breakfast is good overall however, the coffee is bland as is the orange juice. It really should be better. The room cleaning was not up to scratch. The staff didn't clean cups that had been used, they didn't restock the water and milk either. The Cyan restaurant was good, the staff excellent however, the food is basic and not in keeping with the image the hotel portrays and in all honesty for the basic food on offer, it is over priced. These three things did not stop us enjoying our weekend."
