"The location is amazing, staff were nice, rooms were fine - very roomy but just a bed and rundown. The parking also requires more guidance and staff were not great at knowing about it, there is no electric charger on site but the middle bit of the road outside is very cheap and often empty. Overall though it’s hard to not advise it unless you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel."

"The suit was clean and had all the required amenities. Great views of the seafront. The suit was a bit dated and needs a refresh. Beds not set up for some guests so had to call for assistance."

Maldron Hotel Brighton City Centre

Maldron Hotel Brighton City Centre

8/10 Good
"Booked the hotel rather late hence had to pay what we believe is premium rate ( £320.00 for the night ). Check in was easy by polite informed staff, room was more than adequate, clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels, Tv etc. The disappointments were that whilst we had Tea and coffee facilities only one pack of biscuits and then discovered that for the £300 breakfast was not included which surely is nothing but extortion. My own fault for not paying attention when booking but stupidly I woukd expect breakfast for such a sum. I would and shall definitely book again as it’s a good hotel in great location but I’ll pay more attention in the future to the details. I asked at reception if a mistake had been made and was informed that “there was nothing they could do and it was £17 a head. Out of principle we went to the lanes for breakfast."

The Beach Hotel

The Beach Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The staff of The Beach Hotel were friendly, helpful and responsive in every way. From the front desk staff, who are on duty 24 hours a day and who helped me often with my questions, as I have brain damage and absolutely no short term memory and they took care of me -- to the housekeeping crew who were so freaking friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and inviting with a beautiful lobby/dining area where complimentary breakfast is available. It is also perfectly located -- not on the beach which would be louder and windier and more expensive -- but about half a block up the slight hill from the beach which was fantastic! It was clean, quiet, easy to get to, and very comfortable. Not a modern chain hotel, but even better because it had some quirky twists and turns and and old school charm. Great place! OH -- and an incredible video to the song Genesis by the Brighton based international superstar Ren was shot right on that block and the area was quite recognizable. So fun!"
