Marathon Weekend
Instructions were good and easy to check in. Property was close to bus stops to get into town and public transport was good. There was only parking for one car which we were aware of but if the plants were removed at the front you could probably fit two cars on the drive. We found the towels a bit small and would have preferred bath sheets. There was no lock on the downstairs bathroom unfortunately which was a little uncomfortable, and no plug in the sink - my husband lost his toothbrush head!! Overall we were comfortable and happy with the location.

Thanks for the review. We also felt slightly disappointed with the way the property was left upon check out. It was like you just walked out, very messy. Overall I think we agreed to disagree.

Relaxing and spacious
The location of this property was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. Communication with the agent was straightforward. House was very spacious and had plenty of wardrobe space. Kitchen was decently equipped. We had Apple TV available which was nice too as in the evenings we just sat and watched some Harry Potter movies. I feel this property was well maintained and would recommend to get it for big and small groups.

Lovely stay in Brighton
Lovely property, arrived to wine and chocolates on the table which was a nice touch. Was perfect four our 2 young families to enjoy some time away together in a nice, quiet neighbourhood which wasn't too far from the centre of Brighton. Great communication with the host throughout.

Clean, spacious, well resourced property!
Excellent property for me, my bridesmaids and mother over our wedding weekend. Ample parking with a drive and roadside. LOADS of Deliveroo options which was so helpful as we ran out of time to sort dinner the night before! Loved some sneaky Vrbo love we found….! Bex was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Single beds on top floor are creaky and move a little, but they were comfortable and we slept well. Beautiful outside space and decor inside! Thanks Bex!

Great base to enjoy Brighton as a family with pets
The property was clean, spacious and modern. The living area was a great sizeand had a nice view over a well kept garden. We were a little disappointed to find that one of the double beds listed had been swapped for a twin and this was strangely in the master bedroom where you would most likely expect a double. We did contact the host to query this who expalined it was due to guests requesting this but it would have been good to have had an update prior to arriving as we did not know to expect it. We felt that the property was lacking a few basics, such as blinds or curtains on the large bifold doors because in the evening we felt a little "on show" as the neighbours could have seen into our living space and it would have also been cosier. The bedrooms didn't have wardrobes, instead they had hanging rails and the hooks on the bedroom doors prevented the doors closing properly so we had to take them off which meant they weren't useful. Bedroom blinds held up by bull dog clips too which was a bit odd. None of these things matter but these details made it feel a little "studenty" rather than "high end" and so for that reason it is a 4 star and not a 5 star review overall. On the plus side the showers were very good and the beds were comfortable so I would recommend the place and consider staying again if our requirements were similar. The host was also very responsive. Thank you

Superb Holiday
The property was great. It was very spacious and clean. The location is excellent for access to the Downs, the beach and Brighton. The Co-op near by is very handy for essentials. All of our family loved our stay and we had a brilliant break. Communication from Bex was excellent. Thank you very much.

Lovely house and great location
The house was spacious, modern and clean. It was great for a family event and we all enjoyed staying there. The hosts were very accommodating with check in time for my daughter and check out time when there was a discrepancy on the website. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone who wanted to stay near Brighton.

The house is more bigger than looks in photos. Very spacious and extra matress if needed. Bed linen and towels provided for each guest. The communication with Bex was brilliant, very prompt. Definitely recommend.

Great house, just outside Brighton
The house was even more spacious than I imagined, and suited 10 of us in our extended family really well. 3 out of the 4 double bedrooms were really generous in size, and allowed extra kiddie blow up beds on the floor if needed. the double on the middle floor was a smaller one, but perfectly fine still. All the crockery and utensils you could need were there, important touches like providing dish washer tablets, washing up liquid, cling etc were there, which is great. The Coop was only a 3 minute walk away and so easy to stock up on supplies. Parking was easy, as there was always space on the road for an extra car or two if needed. Nice and quiet suburban location. Bex was always on hand should I have any queries, via message or email. The house was lovely and clean, and well looked after. For the price, I thought it was a fantastic stay. If I was to look for improvement, I'd say the mattresses were low quality and so some of my housemates wished for a better mattress. Half the house had foam mattresses, the other half had coil ones. The coil ones were really wiry, I thought the foam one was good :) The WiFi was OK for mild web browsing and a bit of youtube, but doing a speed test it hovered between 1mbps and 2mbps, which is 'very slow' in broadband speed terms. It was good enough for us however. The TV isn't online for Netflix etc, and there's no DVD player. But aside from those points for improvement - well recommended!!

Worked so well we stayed an extra day
Eight adults plus a 5 & 3 year old stayed. Top floor on suite best for parents & young kids as big space for blow up bed and carpeted so not disturbed. Property as described towels and bedding for number of guests. Very clean,modern,functional, lashings of instant hot water,cutlery,crockery and dishwasher with tabs.. Efficient cooker & stove easy to work,large fridge freezer & utility room with sink,washing machine & micro wave. Good TV and excellent WiFi connection for several tablets etc. Sunny aspect onto garden. Number 2 bus stop over the road for scenic South Downs ride into Brighton centre past the racecourse. Number 2 bus back from North St. Co Op store in walking distance. Could have done with tin opener & Cafeteria. Front room bed very comfortable for me some moans from others but did not stop us staying the extra night and enjoying stay. Good, prompt contact with owners can recommend.

Beautiful photos and a lovely home
This is a really nice home, the views on the way to the property make you feel like you're in the countryside, and having a dedicated parking space is really helpful in Brighton. This is a really big deal if looking for a property in the Brighton and Hove area! The house itself is very clean and functional. The layout allows for privacy and communal space for hanging out or dining together. I particularly like that the kitchen is in the open living area and allows for someone to cook and be with the rest of the group. I struggled with how to review this property and had to do a 3-star review for a few reasons. 1) The beds in every single room as incredibly uncomfortable. The mattresses are either cheap or old, and you can feel all the coils when you lie on the bed. One of the bedrooms (main level) is slightly better than the rest, but none of these beds are great. This is the main reason I couldn't do a five star review. 2) The wifi signal is poor. If you need to get online for work, the Internet is very slow. I was using Three for my mobile phone service and there was an OK signal, but not enough for me to use a hotspot. 3) There were no extra towels or sheets. Just the exact number for our party. This means no extra sheets if you get cold at night, or no extra towel if you want to take a shower while your towel is still drying from an earlier shower. Also, it meant there wasn't an extra towel that could be used as a floor mat. I do like staying in rental homes like this and have stayed in dozens around the world -- this is the first time I haven't left a 5-star review for a property. I have family in Brighton and would have loved this to be the "home away from home" that I could rent every time I visit, but unfortunately, I can't see myself staying here again.

Hi Yosef, I'm sorry that you only left us 3 star review. The cleaner did mention that you left the house in a real mess, which realy surprised us, but we still left you 5 stars as we are very diplomatic and like the leave things on a postiive note. We normally use another hosting site where we currently have a 5 star rating which we are very proud of. To answer your concerns the beds are all brand new as are all the matresses.We havent had another other complaints about the beds, so it must have been a personal issue maybe? The wifi also has a great signal and again we havent had any issues from all our other guests. Anyway, all the best with your future travels.

Dieses schöne Haus am Rand von Brighton ist gut ausgestattet, groß und mit sehr guter Anbindung an Straßen und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - auch durch die Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin. Empfehlung!

Une maison moderne et spacieuse, bien située
Maison très confortable, spacieuse, moderne, bien équipée, à la propreté irréprochable. Située dans un quartier agréable et très pratique (tous les commerces sont à 2mn à pied),très bien relié au centre de Brighton par des lignes de bus (environ 20 mn de bus). Merci à Bex qui a été d'une grande gentillesse et réactivité pour nous aider en toute occasion. Une adresse que nous recommandons très vivement.
