"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"This is a historic hotel with a huge charm factor. My room was enormous with three balconies, and the staff was very welcoming and professional. I especially enjoyed tea and coffee in the outdoor private garden and pool area. The location was central and convenient. I always felt safe and welcomed. "

It is a classy establishment just a stones throw from the challenges of the outside world...the restaurant is stylish and the food superb..the pool ditto..please consider staying here if you get the chance."

"Very friendly staff who helped us with all our transport needs. The room was spacious and kept clean. Breaakfast was either buffet or served at table depending on how many people were staying at the hotel. There was a nice pool. The hotèl is up a steep hill but we knew about this, so didn't find it a problem, but you can always get a tuk tuk. Ideal for access to the lake and centre of town."
