"I found the hotel very clean and tidy, with interiors recently refurbished, in particular the bathrooms were equipped with newest facilities. The bed was very comfortable, I had a great sleeping experience and above all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel had many features that you'd normally find in a 5 star hotel. "Everybody should know that you have to read the little text of the booking carefully before coming to this hotel. They don´t speak other than germany and we did not manage to get anybody answering the phone. They require photo of you ID and of the credit card before coming even if you have paid the room in advance. Only then you get the code for the entrance and to your room. "Meilleure chambre d’hôtel que j’ai eue à Cologne. C’était ma 7e visite. Nous sommes arrivés dans la nuit en raison d’un retard de vol. Le personnel au check-in a été super gentil et efficace. La chambre était immense, à bon prix et l’air climatisé fonctionnait parfaitement. Il etait difficile d’avoir de l’eau chaude pour la douche du matin par contre."

"Positiv: das Hotel und die Zimmer sind von der Ausstattung her sehr schön. Das Restaurant mit Dachterrasse und Blick auf den Dom ist ein wirkliches Highlight. Die Lage ist prima, die Innenstadt gut fußläufig erreichbar, Bushaltestellen liegen gleich um die Ecke. Negativ: die Zimmer auf Etage 0 vermitteln ein Souterrain-Feeling. Beim Check-in war um 15 Uhr nur ein Schalter besetzt, es war gefühlt nichts vorbereitet und Debit-Karten konnten nicht gelesen werden. Das führte zu einer sehr langen Wartezeit. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Morgen herrschte das völlige Chaos, zwischen 9 und 10.30 Uhr musste man in einer Schlange bis in Treppenhaus anstehen, vor den Kaffeemaschinen war ebenfalls Schlange stehen angesagt."

"Comfortable and convenient hotel for a short visit to Koln for a couple of days with my son. Great choice of food in the hotel breakfast buffet, although there were also good local cafe options a short walk from the hotel too. Easy to walk into the city centre (15-25 mins walk) to the major tourist areas/sights. Hotel has a decent amount of on-site parking, although it costs €23 Euros per day, and the entrance to it does involve you having to go around the back of the hotel and down a one-way side road to get to it. We took a wrong turn initially, so had to do another loop to access it. We stayed on the top (17th floor) and there was a great view of the river & skyline from the room. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area."

"Our room was huge, with enough room for the bed for my husband and I, plus twin beds for our two kids. It even had a little seating area and an electric kettle which was great for cup of noodles sorts of meals. The only issue was during check-in when the staff notified us that we had two rooms booked when we knew we'd only booked one. They insisted it was Expedia's mistake and must be fixed on Expedia's end, because as a policy they do not cancel 3rd party reservations. We called Expedia and they said they only saw the one room and therefore could not cancel a second, insisting it was an error on the hotel's end. It ended up being a very frustrating experience for everyone involved but in the end they found a way for the extra room to be canceled by a manager higher up. I really appreciated the woman at the front desk for working really hard to find a solution for us. The male front desk worker had a less professional demeanor and bordered on rude. After that situation was sorted out, we were very happy with the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had tons of appetizing choices. The second elevator started working during our stay which helped with wait times. The location was excellent with a train stop just down the street, a grocery store a couple blocks away, and a laundromat across the street."

"Everything was fine except one important item - the windows and the heat. The windows were locked so they could only tilt in and not fully open (It stated this as a safety feature). As a result, our room got very warm and was almost impossible to sleep at night. However, from the terrace, I noticed on the last day that some windows did swing fully open. Not sure why or how they did open such a way, but if it was much hotter in the area, the rooms would be impossible to sleep in. Otherwise, the location, staff, amenities and other guests were superb!"
