Hotel's location is very convenient for a quick walk to the Market Square and other attractions. Room was advertised as a romantic room with river view but there was nothing special about the room besides the big bed. On the second night we noticed water on the floor beside the bed which was coming through the wall behind the bed. When hotel was told we were asked to go back to the room and open the windows. Hotel is clean and quiet.

The concierge was great and really friendly. Always happy to have a chat with us and help us find great places in the city. The hotel itself was lovely and was a convenient short walk into the city centre. Overall we had a great time here and would gladly come back again.

Very charming hotel in a lovely and quiet area of beautiful Bruges. One of the pretty canals is right behind the hotel which is great for peaceful walks. It's only a short stroll to the square where there's plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants... and lots of scrumptious Belgian waffles 👌. We arrived much later than planned due to transport delay, and well after check-in time. We needn't have worried as communication with the hotel was excellent and they made special arrangements for our late arrival on short notice. Top service! All the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and fresh. The bed was large with a very comfy mattress. It had a nice little fridge and the usual tea, coffee etc. which was topped up every day. We also liked that the hotel was only a stone-throw away from direct buses to the train and main bus station. Perfect! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and if I ever visit Bruges again I'll definitely be back😊

From the moment you walk in the front door, you’re welcomed by your host. The rooms we had were excellent. Very quiet area just a few minutes walk from the closer restaurants and bars (and an excellent patisserie for breakfast). Highly recommended, and we’d definitely stay there again, without hesitation.

Choose another option. We were very disappointed with this choice, mostly because the proprietor/manager was extremely unfriendly and the rooms sub-par. I was swayed by the positive reviews which, in my opinion, are not warranted. The manager actually had the audacity to scold me for not contacting him sooner when our bus was late. They did not provide us with a Wi-Fi code and told me I should have gone on a scavenger hunt to find it. Further, there is no a/c and it is extremely hot in the rooms. There are no screens on the windows so when we opened the windows to cool the room down, many mosquitos came in. Poor planning. Every question posed at the desk was met with an attitude of “why are you bothering me”….To top it off, the room was very small, with low end provisions (not even coffee or hot water for a morning tea). In sum, this hotel is overpriced, not deserving of the prior reviews. This is definitely a 2 star hotel.
