The hotel is in a great spot; walkable to everything in Bruges but just far enough outside the city centre so you’re not in the thick of it. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants around the hotel too.

The staff was helpful. The room had beenncleaned. However, there was from time to time quite an unpleasant smell. I think it depends on some defects in the sewage system of the palace, nothing to do with cleaning. Maybe in future renovations it would be an idea to remove the carpet floor. The stay was pleasant, all considered. The bed was comfortable, the position fabulous.

Staff very friendly. Large room with kingsize bed and single bed. Very clean and comfortable. The room had a small fridge. The bathroom was equipped with both a shower and a bath with a shower attachment. It was lovely to have a large mirror and a double sink too. Only thing that let the room down was that the shower door was missing and as a result area around shower was being affected by the water.

The service from staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Hotel 't Putje was located close to the train station and made our stay in Bruges incredibly easy. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value for money.
