  • Stay in the heart of Bruges in a beautifully renovated guest room inside a grand 19th-century townhouse. Built in 1890, the house offers over 700 m² of living space and has been meticulously restored to preserve its many original features—including high ceilings, ornate details, and sculptural elements—while incorporating modern comforts throughout. These historical touches give the building a truly unique and timeless character.

    This spacious and modern room is located on the second floor at the front of the house and offers a beautiful view of Visartpark. With ceilings nearly 4 meters high and large windows, the room feels bright, elegant, and airy. It features a king-sized bed (180 cm), a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet, a seating or dining area, a clothes rack, a Chromecast-enabled TV, and strong Wi-Fi.

    The house is centrally located, within walking distance of Bruges’ top attractions: the train station, the Grote Markt, 't Zand square, and the main shopping streets. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und aufmerksam, das Zimmer sauber. Aber, das Bad ist kein angeschlossener Raum: es hat zwar Wände, ist jedoch nach oben offen! Dadurch ist bei einem Besuch mit zwei Personen ein ruhiger Schlaf und Gemütlichkeit unmöglich. Auf diese Erfahrung hätte ich gern verzichtet.
