The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable. The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu. "bathroom stunk to high heaven of paint. all the towels stank and the smell was awful. i think in future if yoyr decorating rooms atleast air them out afterwards. kind of ruined my experience especially as the price for the room was extortionate anyway."
