"i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future."

"The young man checking us in was very accommodating. Our travel included a 103 year old. He assigned an appropriate room. Some construction was going on near our room which was not a terrible problem. It was apparent that a lot of the hotel was already completed. Would definitely stay there again."

"The cabin was amazing and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. It was a very relaxing weekend for our get away trip for our anniversary. We will definitely be back! Only recommendation I have is maybe having the hot tube under the porch or having some sort of cover over it. It rained a lot this weekend (not that anyone could predict the hurricane) but we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked."

"The cabin was nice and cozy. Having bed linens, towels and wash clothes provided was very nice. Beds and pillows were nice. Hot tub was wonderful! Large well taken care of yard with fire pit and grill. The cabin was clean but there were some areas that needed some attention. Distances in miles to the popular hikes and activities are accurately listed, however it’s slow going on the back country roads. Travel time to most everything was around 40-45 minutes. Overall, this was a nice place to stay and we would stay here again."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Crooked Cabin! If you're looking to truly disconnect, this is the ultimate romantic woodland escape. The cabin itself feels straight out of a fairytale, with its unique crooked windows, handmade details, and secluded 25 private wooded acres.Spending our evenings soaking under the stars in the private wood-fired hot tub and relaxing by the fire was exactly the recharge we needed before heading back to reality. It's close enough to enjoy everything the Red River Gorge area has to offer, yet secluded enough that you feel completely tucked away in your own private world.Dennis was a fantastic host — hospitable, attentive, and clearly thought of everything. We loved the charming storybook details woven throughout the property. Highly recommend to anyone needing a peaceful, unique getaway!"
