"Fabulous weekend exploring the gorge with my daughter. And this cabin was so unique and just added to the fun experience! The property is well-maintained with modern decor. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the extra touches of a space heater, games and record player. Spectacular view off the back porch. Keep in mind it is essentially “glamping” and definitely feels rustic but we knew that going into it. We were glad we chose to pack in most of our food as the restaurant/grocery store options are very slim. Would recommend to anyone wanting a unique tiny home experience in nature!"

"I arrived after midnight and was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The man at the desk was so accommodating and sincere. The room felt like staying in my great grandmother's house. It's an old property with old features. If you're able to accept and enjoy that, your stay will be nice. It was clear that in spite of the property's age, care is taken to clean and maintain things. All the linens were presented nicely and the bed was comfortable and immaculately made. There was both a microwave and a small refrigerator, which is helpful for keeping food costs low while traveling. The fridge made a little noise at night, but a little some relaxing music easily drown it out and I slept well. The door has several locks so I felt especially safe. I enjoyed parking my car right outside the door where I was staying, and the awning kept me dry while I unloaded from the trunk. I would stay here again."

"Landmark Hotel is an excellent place to stay in Pikeville: clean, well-maintained &, when we were there, quiet. Exactly what is needed after a long day's drive. The staff are welcoming & helpful. They couldn't be more friendly. Two comments, though both are minor: It was strange that two remotes are needed for the room television & whatever cable or satellite service they have is limited: CNN, Fox, & Newsmax - yes. But why no MS Now? Second, it would help to have brochures with information about local restaurants. We like to "eat local" & found a great Italian restaurant on the other side of town - but purely by chance. Overall, though, we were glad to stay at Landmark & will, again, when we're in Pikeville."
