"Stayed here for 1 week the place was gorgeous and it was very modern and well divided. The house is a 10/10 overall just a couple of things that could be better. The house never got under 74ish degrees inside and there isn’t much airflow in the house making it very hard to sleep if you like your room cold at night. We had a bear that kept taking our trash and dragging it all over the yard and into the woods. And besides some small but noticeable details like all the glass in the house need a clean and maybe some more attention to detail when cleaning the bathrooms. But besides that the stay was very fun. And overall enjoyable. The couch in the living room is very comfortable and a great place to host movie night with friends and family."

"This house is perfect for a quiet getaway for family and friends. Go floating down the James River or go to Charlottesville to tour Monticello and come home to a peaceful mountain retreat. You can stay and just enjoy the property as well. Kim and Greg are great, and you can't beat the price."

"I’m an older single traveler and I was looking to enjoy the pool, the scenery, and an opportunity to kick back and do some reading. This property was absolutely perfect for that! The cottage was exactly as described, with everything you would need for a very relaxing stay in a bucolic spot - plus a great pool! Also on the expansive and beautiful property are a number of rescue dogs - sweet-tempered, beautiful and healthy, and very much loved. It was my hope - and my choice - to interact with them, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend this property both for individuals and for families. I hope and plan to come again!"

Communication with the owner was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
