"The rooms and common areas were very clean. The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated. Amenities in the bathroom were very nice. There was a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, iron, ironing board, and safe in my room. Lots of area to put your belongings - drawers and shelves. Beds were very comfy. The staff was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but good. Lots of available parking and my only surprise was having to pay a $5 parking fee. The property is within a mile or so of downtown Farmvile with lots of cute little shops and places to eat. I will definitely stay here again if traveling to this area."

"Had minor concerns upon check-in and host was very responsive and answered our questions immediately. Had no further issues and really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space. House was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook during our stay. We really enjoyed the outdoor swing chairs under the deck, around the fire pit and pickle ball was a lot of fun for all ages."

"Wonderful secluded cabin! Great location near state park and national park. Very convenient to Appomattox and Farmville, about 20 minutes either direction for groceries and restaurants. Nice clean hot tub. Great for relaxing and staring up at the night sky, which is full of stars!Kitchen is well appointed, with a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, plenty of pots/pans utensils. There is a dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer. The full bathroom has a walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were available as well as ample towels.1/2 bath in the 2nd bedroom is a nice feature. Beds were comfy!For those who have not spent time in the rural country, you should know the house is surrounded by forest. You will hear animals. You will see bugs like spiders, and ticks (ticks especially under the pine trees). This is just how things are in central Virginia, in the summer in the woods. You will also enjoy lightning bugs (fire flies), and many species of birds. The driveway is gravel and somewhat narrow. We easily parked 2 vehicles and roundabout near the house makes it easy to maneuver. If you have a massive vehicle, or you are towing something large it might be a bit tricky. Overall we loved it and would stay again."

"This was one of the cutest cottages we’ve ever stayed at! The host was so kind and sweet and we LOVED the pool! Host even offered to let us park in the yard to help with my grandmas accessibility. The location is only about ten minutes away from eateries and stores, and super convenient if you’re going to CVille or Shenandoah. If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely stay again!"

"This lovely one bedroom cabin is located just far enough to feel secluded, but within 20 minutes of a grocery store and restaurants. It is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. The hosts have excellent communication and strive to make sure their guests are comfortable, well informed, and get the privacy they desire. The back porch is a dream and where we spent many hours listening to the birds, watching squirrels play, and reading our books. The walking trails on the property are well marked and a great way to explore nature and get some exercise. The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway for a couple. Looking forward to coming back!"
