This place was AMAZING!!! Had a restaurant/Pub below, hotel above(no elevator, just had a knee replacement 8 weeks ago, but i did it lol)Ate several times there, and was never disappointed! Recommend fish & chips as we had thst several times!

It's above a Greene King pub so not of amazing quality but certainly acceptable for a couple of nights, and in a good, central location.

A weekend well spent

Spent the weekend in the revamped White Hart in Buckingham. Staff are friendly, polite and efficient. The hotel has a good vibe from the moment you enter and the creaking stairs and uneven floors only add to the character.

The White Hart is in a lovely old building in the centre of Buckingham. Although there is a bar and beer garden on the lower levels, it was very quiet on the bedrooms. Rooms were nicely decorated and the bathroom was well laid out, clean and fresh. The staff were great, very helpful. . Will definitely be goinng back soon.

Great hotel right in the centre of Buckingham. Super affordable and a very friendly check in team. Didn't have breakfast but the stay was great, free parking right outside (limited) but there were spaces. Warm room, quiet. Very happy with this stay

Lovely hotel and prompt service

The hotel and room were lovely. It wasn't obvious where the car park was, but a quick phone call sorted that. We ordered a snack at the bar and were disappointed with the quality of the "pulled pork" but the replacement was very nice. All in all, a very good stay

A wonderful pub

The staff were lovely, with a large range for breakfast. The food in the pub was great, with residents getting 20% off. The manager was always helpful, the shower and bath was great. I was very happy with this

Goid value for an overnight stop

Old coaching inn in the middle of Buckingham, so the accommodation layout is quirky but perfectly adequate. The bar area is very well laid out with refurbished, different sections for sitting/eating and a massive area for watching sport or playing pub games, plus an outside area. Excellent service and very friendly hosts. Great for an overnight stop and I expect will be fun when the Euros are on !

While the hotel rooms are quite old and dated, and in need of a thorough refurb, throom was clean, bedding clean, nice fluffy towels and a great powerfull shower and even a bath, so no complaints, as it is such a competitively priced accommodation. Breakfast is freshly cooked and excellent, great range of beers at the bar at a fair price, but best of all were the staff, all were friendly, helpful and courteous, a credit to you. Highly recommend.

Very clean

Yes the rooms are rather tired and the stairs to them are quite offputting but the building still has some grandeur from former days and is in perfect location. The rooms and bedding are very clean, the bed comfortable. No noise from the nearby road, just squeaky floorboards. Food and drinks were excellent at very reasonable prices. Staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was good.

I found the White Hart to be old and tired. The rooms which dont appear to have been painted for ten years. The food and service were great apart from breakfast which was awful

Clean comfy stay

Arrived early and managed to get a space in the car park, one of our rooms was ready which was great. The other room was ready a little later but still earlier than check-in time. Check was smooth and straightforward, don't forget to put reg no. in the machine at check-in desk. We sat outside and ordered food and drinks and had a lovely day. Our room was at the front overlooking the street which only became an issue at closing time, when everyone left but seemed to hang around outside talking etc. Not the pub/hotel's fault so would look to be in a different room next time. Shower was good, hot water and the room clean and comfortable. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have any as we had a relatively early lunch gathering to attend. Would stay again.

Newly renovated and clean rooms in Buckingham

The rooms were newly renovated so our room still had that new shine to it. It was clean and neat. All staff were helpful and competent. The bathroom didn't have any hooks or shelves to hang or put toiletries but I made do by putting stuff on the counters and hanging my toiletry bag on the doorknob. We ate a lunch in their pub and it was the equivalent of diner food in our opinion which isn't what we want to eat while on vacay so we only ate once there. Coffee was great. There are many food and drink options nearby so location is great. Our room was quiet while my sister's room was not-they could hear the music and crowd noise from the pub downstairs but with earplugs they were fine.

Was cold heating didn’t work, bathroom was disgusting, ceiling covered in mould. Couldn’t wait to leave. But breakfast was ok!
