Ideal for a short stay

Found our experience at Broadway met our expectations. Friendly staff and very helpful. Ideal stay for a budget break. The location is great. Close to metro which is the best way to get around Budapest. A number of nearby bars and eateries.

Terrible nights sleep!

Stayed for one night in a ground floor twin room. Constant banging and loud voices throughout the night made it difficult to sleep. Other guests stood outside the window of the room talking loudly and smoking throughout night (smoke coming into hostel room so also smelt bad). Cleaning staff came in to the apartment early in the morning and shouted at each other from different rooms, making it impossible for guests to sleep in beyond about 8 (we had a late flight and arrived in the hostel at 2am so this was not ideal). Reception was vacant for quite long periods of time and check in was slow. Took a long time to get served at the hostel bar as staff were sat with their friends rather than doing their job. Coffee was stone cold when it did come (half hour after sitting down at bar!). One bed was also broken: every time you moved it creaked loudly waking both people in the room up. The room was at least reasonably clean. This place was cheap, but have had much better nights sleep at cheaper places and there are other Budapest hostels that offer better value.

Mínimo necesario para descansar

Los espacios son pequeños y hasta un poco incómodos (habitación, regaderas, baño, área común), pero cumplen con la función. La chica del front desk muy seria que parecía molesta. Tiene su propio locker, toma de corriente y luz de lectura, agua caliente. Lugares turísticos no tan cercanos, pero fácilmente llegas caminando. Es un lugar regular para un par de días.

I could hear really loud music coming from somewhere nearby... unfortunately I found it difficult to sleep. I have changed rooms at the same hostep for my next reservation, beginning today. So, maybe the other room will be quieter at night.

절대오지마세요 the worst hostel in my trip

주변에 클럽이있어서 시끄럽고 방문없이 커텐으로만 이뤄져서 더더 시끄럽고 호스텔이 굉장히 어둡고 음침합니다(모텔방에 암막 커튼 친 느낌이랑 굉장히 흡사) 그래서 약빤애들이 와서 세ㄱ.스 하는 호스텔 느낌이었는데 그 예상이 진짜였음 약빤건 모르겠지만 진짜 옷 다벗고 세ㄱ.스하려던거 제가 알고 뭐라해서 못함 절대 오지마세요. 진짜 개비추 헝가리여행은괜찮았는데 숙소에서 다 배림 외국인도 오지말라는 의미에서 부족한 영어도 쓸게요 The wooorrrrrssssttttt hostel in my trip Hostel dont have doors of the room they have only curtains so never expect sound proofing And hostel is soooo dark like under ground, so some peoole who crazy in s.e.x are come here Actually they try to s.e.x in hostel This hostel spoil my fun of hungary

Good for budget travelers

Pros: 1) Helpful and friendly staff 2) Relatively high privacy as a dormitory as they separate the bunk beds with a wall and curtain 3) Free coffee and tea 4) Free maps and tourist informations Cons: 1) The room is a bit too small for those who carry large suitcase 2) The doors are too heavy. It would be very noisy when people are coming in and out 3) The shower curtain is too narrow. The floor would become slippery after taking shower. 4) It takes 10 min to walk to the nearest metro station but still acceptable 5) It could be quite noisy during the night because the rooms are right next to the yard. 6) The ventilation in the room is not good enough 7) No female dorm in the hostel. The male roommates (majority) will snore loudly when they sleep which is quite annoying Note: I know this is nothing about the hostel but there were some guests showing a pretty bad manner during my stay. They made the toilet extremely dirty, making disgusting noise when they were in the hostel, talking loudly... Which was quite unpleasant and not comfortable. I can understand this is totally not related to the hosts. Just saying.

ロケーションは良かったのですが、トイレが清潔じゃなかった…。あとシャワールームは電話ボックスを2個くっつけたくらいの大きさで、カーテンが無いので、タオルが濡れないように気を使いながらシャワーを使っていました。 寝る部屋というか、ベッドは綺麗でした。

This place is good value for the money. We had a double room 100 meters from the best bar in town, Instant. And also, most other things of interest are within walking distance. What more can you ask for?

Presque parfait

+ : location (centrale et parfaitement desservie par une multitude de transports publics), appartement très spacieux et bien équipé pour un prix plus que modeste, très propre, résidence calme, ascenseur, baignoire, appartement bien chauffé à notre arrivée, balcon. - : personnel froid et mal renseigné sur les prix des taxis pour l aéroport, le wifi fonctionne très mal, il faut jongler avec plusieurs réseaux publics qui n'appartiennent même pas à l'établissement.

tilava huoneisto lähellä Ooppera-taloa

Kolmelle henkilölle varaamani huone olikin iso kaksio parvekkeella. Huoneistossa oli hyvä varustelu. Perjantai- ja lauantaiyönä läheisen yökerhon musiikki valvotti, joten kannattaa varata korvatulpat mukaan viikonloppumajoitusta varten. Aamupala ei kuulunut hintaan, mutta hostellin lähellä oli useita pieniä marketteja.

Situé de manière assez centrale, entre l'opéra, le parlement et la gare, nous n'avons eu qu'à nous féliciter de cet appartement indépendant. Toutefois, le parking est épineux et onéreux: de l'ordre de 15 à 17€ par jour.

駅近、オペラ座の裏の個人経営ホステル

駅近のアットホームなホステルでした。 スタッフが親切でフレンドリーでした。 部屋は狭く、仕切りの上部が空いているため、隣の部屋の声がそのまま聞こえます。私の滞在した時は、隣がグループで滞在している方だったため、よる遅くまで話が続き、大きな声が気になりました。 とびらはカーテンで、鍵付きの木製ロッカーが使用できます。小さいスーツケースが入ります。 ホステルの近くには食べる店もありました。スーパーは探してませんのでわかりません。

Slightly difficult to find but once inside very helpful hotel staff. Room is large with all the basic necessities, easy walking distance to metro and landmarks.
