For the level of Hotel I was a bit disappointed, the TV didn't work even after asking for it to be fixed, a couple of requests for things were not done

Worth paying for spacious room
The location: about 10 min walk from the nearest train or tram station, and a bit far if you have a heavy luggage. The room: very spacious and clean enough quiped with good quality amenities (molton brown). The staff: very friendly and helpful.

The property is beautiful! We loved it and will recommend definitely. The o Ku down side was the body lotion, it may have been old or maybe the bottom of it may have been old because it had an odd texture but other than that all great! The staff is amazing

Hotel was excellent. Need to be aware that it is a city centre and there is noise from the street at night. Definitely include breakfast served in a beautiful restaurant, but it is a la carte and not a buffet. Location 500m walk from transport hub.

on my first night at the hotel, I came back after midnight to find people were asleep on the floor in front of reception, smoking cigarettes and drinking indoors with food openly on the floor and strewn about in the reception office with no hotel employees present. My rooms lock was broken then they put me in another room and the ac was broken and not working. they gave me a fan. I tried to get out of my reservation and move to another hotel but they asked me to call Expedia to manage this since I had booked via their service. Expedia said they would handle it and when I checked in for my next room which was a suite there was no air conditioning either in that unit. Expedia told me that everything would be okay and that they would help me through the experience but they lied and I had to sleep on a couch in a friend's suite which had air conditioning the entire stay. Expedia did not help me resolve the situation. I paid for a luxury suite that I did not use and I would not recommend either using Expedia or Stories hotel as an option in Budapest. There are plenty of options out there so spend your money wisely with another booking service and another hotel.

Pretty neat hotel. We really liked the amenities and location. A bit noisy the Saturday night from the street and restaurant. But was good after that. No hot water one morning. But overall the features were great. Would stay again for sure.

Hotel was in a great location . Room was very big as was the bathroom. Great shower. It was very clean. We were in a loft type room . The stairs were not carpeted. They were were metal steps. You could hear people up and down the stairs in their rooms all the time which was annoying at night. We had problems with the wifi one morning and the morning ( 6am) we left there was no hot water. Other than that morning there was no issue at all with hot water. Eventhough the steps look good and makes the room look great it would be better to carpet them. Good value for what we paid and for us perfect location

Absolute perfection!!! Everything about the hotel is amazing. Location 10-15min from the river, 10-15min from the main park and sightseeing castle. over the road from one of the main Ruins strips of bars/restuarants. 5 mins from 1 main fashion street shopping area. The hotel has such an amazing ( jungle bar ) the place is stunning. Service from all staff was exceptional and very friendly. The room ( Junior suite ) was a great choice, very comfortable for 4 people. There's 2 beds on a upper floor. The beds were very comfortable and the room had everything you need. I can't wait to come back and bring my wife! I wont look anywhere else.

The hotel was very conveniently located and had a fabulous restaurant downstairs. The staff were also very helpful. The only thing that could have been better was the pull out couch that my daughter used, which was not that comfortable.

I knew it would be great but the hotel really exceeded my expectations, Nadya, Faisal and Zsolt were literally the best! Thank you so much guys for making my trip so great! There was a lot of space, loads of cool quirks in the rooms like free Polaroid camera, a record player. Fresh popcorn in the lobby which made the place smell nice.

Wonderful
I had a very pleasant stay at Stories Hotel - the service, rooms and location were ideal and having such a well rated restaurant as part of the complex was an added bonus. It is in the heart of the entertainment district so rooms facing the street to bring in quite a bit of noise from the bars below, but it was manageable.

It is centrally located which is a major plus with easy access. I had to wait 20 minutes for the receptionist to show up to check in, she was very pleasant, personable and apologetic. When I checked out no one asked me how my stay was! Surprisingly odd this dat and age of customer service and competition. The door frame to me room, needs immediate attention, it is is il fitting and for all the security within the hotel, the room was not secure. Each time the door was closed, one had to slam it shut and plaster would fall off. As for cleanliness, the cleaning showed up at 5pm to clean the room the 1st day and 3pm the 2nd day. Again very unusual! I asked for a late check out as their rules are 11am check out, I was told that it was not issue until 2pm at a cost of 30 Euros!! I passed, as I have never had to pay for a late check out! I did write to management and as yet still awaiting a response! All in all, I doubt very much if I will return to this hotel and cannot recommend it.

Nice hotel 2 floors up in a very glam building with a beautiful restaurant on the ground floor. The room was nice albeit small. The main issue I had was the service or lack of it. Check in was rather laboured, inefficienct and curt. When I went to check out at 7 am reception was unattended. The taxi I asked them to book never booked. No was was around to help at all. Very very poor.
