"The bathtub was not clean and had to be cleaned and refilled with hot water because there was grime floating in the bathtub. The staff was very helpful, and worked very hard to find a place that would be open when many supermarkets were closed early during the mid summer eve. They also worked very hard to find out the bus schedule for the airport when we had a problem with the bus schedule for the mid summer holiday. The breakfast is excellent, delicious and varied. "Hotel Uman is a fantastic hotel. We stayed two separate nights on our way to and from Finland. Nice quiet rooms with all the amenities. Lower level garage is very convenient and safe. Hotel Uman is within walking distance of all Umeå museums, university, river walk, shopping and ferry to Vaasa Finland. The food is excellent (breakfast and dinner) and both are free! The staff is superior---very friendly and accommodating. Hotel Uman is the place to stay in Umeå."
