"I was travelling for business alone and stay in many hotels. It was clean and tidy but I expected more for the price - the room was a bit small but the shower was good(the Simpsons towel in the bathroom was an interesting touch). I needed wifi and it was really bad. The breakfast was really bad and consisted of a tomato, two slices of bread , some egg and some weird cold hamburger . "Comfortable and convenient hotel for a short visit to Koln for a couple of days with my son. Great choice of food in the hotel breakfast buffet, although there were also good local cafe options a short walk from the hotel too. Easy to walk into the city centre (15-25 mins walk) to the major tourist areas/sights. Hotel has a decent amount of on-site parking, although it costs €23 Euros per day, and the entrance to it does involve you having to go around the back of the hotel and down a one-way side road to get to it. We took a wrong turn initially, so had to do another loop to access it. We stayed on the top (17th floor) and there was a great view of the river & skyline from the room. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area."

"Well situated just one train stop east of city centre. Walkable in 20 minutes. Nearby bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and quick with check in and keeping the buffet breakfast area tidy. The breakfast times and choices are good. Food looks like it's a good quality. Pool is on the smaller size, but at least three lane space for swimming, and was good temperature for relaxing. Sauna is a good size. Didn't use the gym but it looked in good condition. The apartment style room had everything you need, including a washing machine (with washing powder which we eventually found). Washroom is spacious. A few minor issues. Washroom needs a bit of TLC. Grout mouldy in places. Our view out of the hotel is toward a litter strewn parking lot and the back side of the convention centre. And the bar, while very impressive, does not appear to function as one. While we were there, including over the weekend, I didn't see it was open. There are plenty of nearby options, it was just unusual for a hotel of that size not to operate as a bar. I would stay again."

"The room and the staff are great! Just a few issues with the room: - Air Con was not working throughout our stay. Because we were in a family room, there was only 1 other room available which also didn’t have working air con. We even called ahead to check the air con was working and were informed it was. - Our shower gel was empty upon arrival and had to ask 3 times for new shower gel. - The sliding door to the bathroom had an opening which meant everyone in the room could see straight to the toilet. Not ideal for 3 mates sharing a room! - The car park is extortionate (€25 per night). Park in the multi-story at the end of the road which is cheaper (€16 per night)."
