Top Burntisland Hotel Reviews

ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile
10/10 Excellent
"It was really comfortable and the staff was friendly"

Apex Grassmarket Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We really loved this hotel due to its proximity to all the main areas and the views to the castle were incredible. Try to get a 4th or 5th floor room and an odd number for the best views of Edinburgh Castle. Restaurants were on the street below and plenty of choices. Keep in mind there is no a/c but that’s common. Staff was excellent and room was cleaned each day. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club

"Breakfast was wonderful. The castle was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and bathrooms were updated. Beautiful grounds to explore too!"

CODE - The Court, Edinburgh
10/10 Excellent
"Really wonderful stay in an 8 bed female dorm at The Code. Room was clean, lockers for belongings are large and easy to access. Common area bathrooms were very clean and never crowded. The cafe is great and you can't beat the location to everything in city center. Highly recommend and will likely stay here again."

Hilton Edinburgh Carlton

Virgin Hotels Edinburgh
8/10 Good
"Hotel was beautiful. Staff was amazing. Very attentive. Rooms were so modern and luxurious. Definitely go to the bar, great drinks by the bartenders. Restaurants served delicious food. The only negative was certain rooms like ours were facing a hostile and bar where the noise and partying all night kept us awake till about three in the morning."

Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket

"The room was clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was nice having the convince to eat breakfast. We also liked that it was walking distance to a lot of things to do."

Point A Edinburgh Haymarket
8/10 Good
"Staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. No kettle or coffee machine in the room. No mini-fridge or ice machine. No desk or table in the room. No USB-C ports in the room, though there was a USB port and adapters were sold from a vending machine in the lobby. You can get a cup of tea in the lobby for 2 UK pounds. There are some coffee shops nearby including Starbucks by the train station. Shower is quite narrow, though clean and modern. I didn't like the smell of the shampoo provided, but I will say that it was wonderful with my hair. We purchased a bar of soap at Boots because the pump on the shower gel/shampoo/conditioner combo was so annoying. It only gave a little bit of soap at a time. No lotion or face cloths were provided. The towels were more like bath sheets, large and fluffy. So, a mixed bag, really. For me, providing free coffee and tea would have done a lot to make the stay more pleasant."
