"The breakfast was very good (and the coffee machine in the dining area was available and complimentary around the clock). The room did not have a fridge or a microwave oven."

"I honestly wasn't expecting such a lovely hotel. Our Air BnB fell through (no heat nor hot water), and I was able to snag a solo room last-minute. Room, staff, dinner, and breakfast were all lovely. Even though a wedding was going on in one of the function rooms, the staff kept churning out superior service. Such a gem. Highly recommend!"

"We had a horrible stay. I believe one of the worst stays ever. We complained about the toilet not working properly and they said they would send someone to fix it. Then the room we had was Close to the front desk and we couldn’t hear a bang every time a door closed. Then the toilet totally backed up and ran water over the entire floor. They finally moved us to another room for are last night. A little too late. Not impressed"

"Amazing stay at the Fingal. Top rated service, dining, and very comfortable beds. It’s also away from the noise in the tourist areas of Edinburgh making it a peaceful escape. Thank you!"
