"Overall our stay was good. Few little quibbles. Our superior room was nice , clean good extras. But bottom of bathroom door has eroded, wood cracked ,paint come off due to damp. So let it down. Room 428. One of the lifts wasn't working so 2 lifts for 16 floors wasn't ideal. Other issues lack of signs. Like which way to rooms or lift dosent show which floor it's on apart from ground floor. Also breakfast was nice but again lack of signs , like which jam is that , which is gluten free , type of cereal/ bread it is. Or which is vegetarian / vegan. Apart from that all ok. About 15 mins walk to new street station soo not too bad about 5 mins walk utilitia arena ."

"Superb hotel...cosy and well-run. Excellent spa facilities with an indoor, heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room - kids are allowed. Good food but could have done with a wider menu choice for prepaid half-board customers (only 3 mains to choose from whereas a-la-carte had much more choice). Helpings were also just a little on the smaller side. Plus noise levels can get quite high at dinner times from 'loud' guests (with little noise control by the staff). Excellent customer service otherwise - they even came and knocked on my door when i didn't initially answer my wake-up call! Lovely scenery outside plus a popular golf course. Recommended if you are visiting the area."
