Staff were absolutely wonderful. My wife and I checked in around 10:30pm after a wedding reception. Personally at the desk found that of no inconvenience was cheerful and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable room. Slept like logs - logs don’t snore. Verry happy.

We arrived early and our room was ready. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and professional. Lee Wood is a beautiful building, with well maintained grounds, and provided free car parking. It's a short walk into Buxton town centre which helped with our 10,000 steps per day! Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast menu was extensive and made to order. Overall a lovely stay.

The hotel.was ideally situated to explore Buxton. The area where the hotel was is lovely and quiet. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night which usually means you get a small room but the room was a good size. The floorboards outside in the corridors are very creaky which kept us awake at times and had we stayed longer it would have disturbed our sleep but other than that I would definitely stay here again.
