The hotel rooms were very dated and the walls are so thin we heard every little noise from other doors banging, people walking around above us and up and down the corridor. We asked to move rooms after the first night and the staff were accommodating to this. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the Spa is so beautiful. There is an extra charge for the spa if you don’t have a spa day included in package but well worth the money.

Nice golf course, especially the back 9. Hotel and rooms were good - we upgraded to suite with terrace which was very good. We were disappointed in the Barney restaurant. The BLT came on flimsy white bread when the menu said it came on toast. When we raised this eventually we were provided with toast - 2 pieces of the same type of bread lightly toasted on one side! When checking in at 12 we were not allowed to fill in the forms to make life easier when the rooms were ready. After our golf we returned at 5:45 we had to wait 15 minutes until someone came to help at reception

Great location. Lovely staff members. Spa treatments were amazing. Room was lovely but bear in mind if your staying top floor in summer there absolutely stifling and not pleasant to sleep in. The fans don’t do much really.

Was really looking forward to staying here! The grounds where beautiful and the staff where great! Rooms are very dated bathroom was like a Travelodge with posh toiletries. plug next to bed was some funny plug so have to leave phone other side of the room, small old tv. Bed was two singles pushed together not really acceptable when you paid for a king size bed. Seats in room very uncomfortable and have been wrecked by dogs. Overall do pay the money to stay here plenty of better hotels in the area and cheaper
